2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Are we Reprobates
2 Corinthians 5:12-17 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
"we commend not ourselves again unto you"
"commend: praise, speak well of, acclaim, extol, laud & mention"
This is saying, as we who are constrained by the love of god, which is this word of god, namely, Jesus Christ, manifested by the Person of the Holy Ghost, this invisible God.
Does god keep commending himself, or does he just say to you and I, as Paul is saying, and was done on this Cross.
At this last breath that Jesus takes, when this world hated him, that they wanted him to be rid of, he Commends Himself To God the Father:
Luke 23:44-48 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.
Jesus had just prior to this, he tells this one that hangs beside him...
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Paul in the above where he talks about commending himself.
Paul wants them to know, that, there is no need of him commending himself, or the others to these, again and again.
As enough love of god had been shown to them, that from that hour, they are to be what god wants them to be, and go forward as;
"give you occasion to glory on our behalf"
This is to say, that when Jesus Commended his Spirit back into the hand of the father, he was giving all of us...give you occasion to glory on his behalf, and that we should not do as these was doing, and we see many today do...
"them which glory in appearance"
This is one of the ways that we can know who is of god, or who is of the Devil.
The devil, not only has he Transformed himself into this Angel of Light, he is, and does, by this wisdom of the world, he transforms his Ministers.
Those that he transforms, the Glory in Appearance, Glory in each other, and compare themselves with themselves:
2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
These are those that want you to know that they, again and again, remind you, which is they commend themselves to you, again and again, and will not let you forget, that it is them, or what they have done, and shown to you, that you are who you are.
2 Corinthians 11:12-16 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.
They have but one goal, and that is to have you, or affect you, so that they can be affected:
Galatians 4:15-19 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
These that are able to do this, as when they affect, which means they want you to commit your keeping, with what you can give them in return, as it Is you that they need to do what they do, as it makes them look good in the eyes of others.
You can see, and understand those SEVEN SPIRIT, that is more wicked than this one spirit, this one that went out of this man;
Luke 11:22-26 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
These have learned, these that yield at this last resort, which is when a man Is saved, and Christ removes this Spirit, and these are as Paul said;
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new"
This, Paul is saying, is when he has to commend himself again to those that have been forgiven, and this evil spirit is gone from this person, this person, or they, which is many, they just cannot continue as at the first when they would have, as Paul tells us:
Galatians 4:13-17 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
In other words, as these here would have plucked out their eyes to give to Paul, when at first he was commended to them, they have now, or this Unclean Spirit, it has summoned other spirits, that is more wicked, which is those that are Transformed by Satan, into minister of righteousness.
These are those that change what god said, and change the truth into a lie, and do it all, with the help of those that commend themselves, or compare themselves with themselves.
These spirits, the come back and, little by little, they use the bible, religion, and they do so to affect you, that is, they want you to let this spirit that was once unclean, they make it appear that this same spirit is not so bad, and that you should let him come back in.
After all, this spirit, with those that continually commend themselves, coming to you, yes, through religion, and religious practices, they changed a little here and a little there, and after while, they convince that what you was set free from, was not so evil.
This is when they enter in with those Seven Spirits, more wicked than the first one that god delivered from you, which goes to find rest, and finds none.
This is what Jesus meant when he tells Peter:
Luke 22:29-33 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
Paul finds those Galatians in this stage, as Satan is using those Jews of the flesh, who was turning their hearts to go back under this law, and they wanted to affect them, and was doing just that:
Galatians 3:1-5 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Paul, he is again having to commend himself to these that, once they was free from this law of condemnation, and being free, these Seven Spirits, after this old man was crucified, this ways of what these Galatians was free from, they were again, just ready to go back into this bondage;
Galatians 4:22-27 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
These Galatians was not looking at this flesh, this Hagar, which is Mt Sinai, or this Law given for Trucebreakers, which held them, and still holds them under this bondage, they had convinced these that this was not so bad, as Paul said;
Romans 7:11-15 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid.
But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
You see, Satan, he takes this law, which is made for those that break those laws, or actually is of this bond woman, and not of this Promise.
They, with this help of Satan, they take this occasion of this law, and pound you down into hell with it.
They are quick to find your faults, and remind you over, and over, that those sins, that this law is, or keeps reminding you that you are just a sinner, and you need to be reminded this over and over again, and again.
In other words, they want you under condemnation, and as Paul said about knowing Jesus after the flesh:
"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more."
Here is this righteousness of this law, and here is the end of this law, for righteousness, but like those that keep Jesus In the flesh, and just see him as this Jew in the outward, like they see the Jew outward today, and want, as Peter does, and Paul comes face to face with Peter:
Galatians 2:9-13 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision. Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
Just as Paul finds that these Seven Spirit, this was what was trying, and was succeeding in getting Peter, yes, this one that Jesus calls out, delivers this unclean spirit out of.
Here comes those Seven Spirit more wicked than the first, taking occasion of this law on Mt Sinai, which Paul said is Agar.
Is in bondage with her children, meaning that those Arab nation, along with the Outward Jew, this flesh, all flesh to be in this bondage, that is, when they go back, or desire to be back under the law.
This has happened to this Church as we know it, and this Apostasy is bringing this:
2 Thessalonians 2:1-5 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
From those that glory in appearance, they will lead, by these Seven Spirits more wicked than the first, they will cause this to be when is all said and done:
Matthew 7:20-24 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
You see, Agar, she has this child, and this child is as always, just as it was with Cain, is always born first, as Abraham and Sarah, they decided that they could not wait on this Promise seed.
The take matters in their own hands, and give birth to this Ishmael, and as the bible said:
Galatians 4:27-31 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
This is a symbolic of what a Jew is Inward, or this seed, not seeds of many, but one seed:
Galatians 3:14-18 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Here is where god, after Hagar is cast out, and this Casting out, is those Hebrews, who is carrying this one seed, they cast out, or made those of this Bond woman, here seed, Alienated from god, or tell them, if they are not of Isaac, using this outward flesh, they cast these Gentiles away.
Make it so that these that are of Agar, which is the flesh, but they tie this to this seed, and this brings those up to this time of Christ, when he comes, that flesh seed is what is crucifying him, and is under bondage, as Paul said.
Paul said that this is Mt Sinai.
Paul, he identifies what this incarnate of Satan, back there in this Garden of Eden, when he changes this law, when god tells Adam and Eve, thou shalt not.
He using this occasion of this commandant, like those Jews was, these that are in the flesh, who use this law on Mt Sinai, and has Peter telling the Gentiles that they have to go through the Outward Jew, or they cannot get to god.
Can you believe this is still happening today?
Paul was called out of this outward flesh.
Agar, this Law on Mt Sinai, and god opens his eyes, and shines this light, so bright that he has to have someone else to lead him into this truth, tell him what to do.
Paul heads, bypassing these other Apostles, and goes right to where Moses receives this law:
Galatians 1:15-19 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
Here, in this same spot, God givers Paul this Revelations:
2 Corinthians 12:1-5 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.
Paul's whole purpose, this that god Purpose for him, is to wake up those that trust in themselves that they are righteous:
Matthew 23:25-30 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
