In the beginning God:
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Without the moving of the spirit of God, everything
is void.
And the earth was without form,
and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Light
is in Essence the ruling Factor in life itself, without it nothing can exist and all things would be void, worthless and without
light in our lives we cannot function.
In
order to move around; in the darkness of the night; we have to artificially; produce light.
Man
has learned to do that to overcome the boundaries that exist during the nighttime.
So
has mankind artificially taken the light of Satan, and has become in a sense; a self producing artificial light maker.
He
loves darkness rather than light (Gods Light)
And this is the condemnation, that light
is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before
them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. [5] And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him:
for they know not the voice of strangers.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them,
and they follow me:
If any
man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
How can we hear the voice of Christ without the moving of the Spirit?
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and
God divided the light from the darkness.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth.
That
which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth
nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
In
that Hour, he shall Teach you all things;
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom
the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you.
The disciples Wrote the Words as the Holy Ghost moved them to write.
And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their
redeemer.
And
they remembered his words,
He brought it to their memory:
The Word was God, Spirit, made
flesh, dwelled among men, crucified, resurrected, and today sets on the right hand of God making intercessions for mankind
and has fulfilled all things and has given us the earnest of the spirit.
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Now
he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
Until the day of redemption,
We are sealed:
Do not Grieve the Spirit.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day
of redemption.
Look closely to what God is, and Was, and is to Come:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The
same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
[4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended
it not.
All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world
knew him not.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which
was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation
of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Jesus Christ is before all things
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
We have been chosen by God from the foundations of the World
According as he hath chosen us in him before the
foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
We were Called and predestinated to be called the Sons Of God.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of
God.
Moreover
whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he
also glorified.
Could we say that as Christ is the light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world?
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man
that cometh into the world.
If God be for us who can be against us?
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can
be against us?
I think that our problem is that we have not learned to trust God with all our heart, and lean not on our understanding.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
We
Walk by faith and not by sight:
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh
to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Adam was taken from the
earth and was breathed upon by the breath of God.....in essence this was the Holy Ghost that was given to Adam.....He then
became a living soul......Today if we are without Christ we walk around dead......
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God
of the dead, but of the living.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:
he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
In him
was life; and the life was the light of men.
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of
death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man
that cometh into the world.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but
he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began
to be merry.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and
of all uncleanness.
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened
us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Wherefore
he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore
do greatly err.
For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living:
for all live unto him.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned:
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.
For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus
Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Gen, 1.2.... And the Spirit of God Moved upon the
face of the waters.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded
is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed
can be.
This
is why Peter denied Jesus three times.
Jesus
said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. [35] Peter said unto
him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before
the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
Without the Holy Ghost ...Peter meant well and would have in his
carnality fought to his death...He even drew his sword and cut of the ear of one of the high priests servants.
Jesus
told him to put up the sword.
Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut
off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. [11] Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the
cup, which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
We
must recognize:
Without
the Holy Ghost in our lives; we are not at our full potential.
Peter;
When he was filled with the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost stood up; With boldness began to proclaim the word of God;
Thousands were converted; Then began to come to pass what Jesus had promised: They were to tarry in Jerusalem until they be
endued with Power from on High.
What
the church today needs ...is not only salvation and pardon from sins; They the body of Christ needs to go a step farther and
receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Then instead of ice cream socials ...there will be Revival among the church and Souls
will be delivered from sin and bondage . We look to the politicians for the answer to abortion and while we look to carnal
politicians to resolve the matter of abortion:
what
we need is to stop aborting the Holy Ghost out of our Churches and out of our Hearts and lives.
The
Spirit moved in the camp during Moses time.
And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake?
would God that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!
There were those who thought the spirit;
should be limited to only a select few.
Today there is still those who would deny you and
I access to the Holy Ghost by telling you that it is not to be had in this day and that it passed away when the disciple’s
all died and that no more miracles of healing and laying on of the hands should not be practiced.
Stephen
said to those who doubted Gods Power;
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always
resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
The
promise is to all who will call on the Lord;
For the promise is unto you, and to your children,
and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Jesus said:
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient
for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto
you.
So it
is necessary that we be endued with the Holy Ghost from on high..so that we too like Peter, Stand up boldly and proclaim with
authority and we too can see the results that was there at Pentecost....
Churches
have for so long denied the power; While they speak the words of God with their lips.
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth,
and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Can
it be possible for us to act like Christians, and not know Christ?
And then
will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
They
profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Yes
it is possible to mingle among the brethren and not be a Christian. Judas Iscariot was one example of the devil working in
the mist of the brethren and his heart was evil....he was from the devil.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the
devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
They went out from us, but they were not of us;
for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest
that they were not all of us.
Judas
was from the devil.
The Holy Ghost is referred to by Jesus as Living Water:
Jn 4, 14. But whosoever drinketh of the water that
I shall give him shall never thirst. But the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water I shall give him
shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Ac 2,4 and they were filled with the Holy Ghost,
and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave utterance.
Notice:
They spake with other tongues as the Spirit gave utterance. Not as they uttered but as the spirit gave or moved on and in
them.
One of the body’s most unruly members is the Tongue.
But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly
poison.
Peters
Sermon to the Gentiles;
For they heard them speak in with tongues, and
magnify God...
God
is no respecter of person;
vs. 35 Butt in every nation he that feareth him,
and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him
We must fear God and worketh righteousness...John the Baptist came
preaching Repentance and said to the people that they should bring forth fruits meet for repentance.
Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.
Vs. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is
mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear; He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
Judgment was upon humanity at the time of John the Baptist. He cried,
“o generation of vipers “ who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come.
The wrath warning came from Malaciah the prophet.
The people who came out to meet John ...must have
thought that the time for Elijah to come and bring Judgment upon the world. They had a reason to be in fear.... For had not
Jesus came and died on the cross. There was the judgment of the Law...and at the time of Christ the fullness of Time had come.
Jesus came, and pushed back Judgment, as mercy rejoices against judgment.
Ac 19,6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and
they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Clearly here we can see that the laying on of hands as an act of faith and obedience
brought the promise that Jesus had promised.... That he would fill you and I with the Holy Ghost and the evidence would be
the speaking of tongues.
Let me emphasize to you, The evidence of the gift of the Holy Ghost is given
for the work that God wants you to accomplish.
The Holy Ghost brings salvation to the believer.... And it gives the believer boldness
to accomplish the task that God calls us unto. Just like the evidence of confirmation of Christ as King and lord of Lords.
The healing took place to confirm his ministry; the gift of the Holy Ghost confirms that the believer has met with God and
submitted himself to God for service.
Submit yourselves unto God. Resist the devil.
and will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands ye sinners; and purify your hearts,
ye double minded. Be afflicted, mourn and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble
yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite
spirit.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou
wilt not despise.
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I
dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
For all those things hath mine handmade, and all those things have been,
saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him:
your heart shall live forever.
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of
peace.
When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek
with salvation.
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek
of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice
in the Holy One of Israel.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good
tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening
of the prison to them that are bound;
That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way
of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:
Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness,
seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.
Blessed
are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Take
my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek,
and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,
even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
In these verses we can see the part that we, as sinners must present to God;
before God can start to Draw near to us, and place inside, and upon us the Gift of The Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost is the person that Brings God to his believer, and confirms his
word.
Jesus said: I will not leave you comfortless.
John 14, 18-18 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may
abide with you forever. Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth
him not: neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I
will not leave you comfortless; I will come unto you.
Jesus was the truth and the way:
John
14:6
Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
No man can come to the Father except through, and by him.(Jesus). This is the first Comfort
that was given by the Holy Ghost. As John the Baptist proclaimed .....”Behold the Lamb of God”... So this was
the comforter of the Salvation of God which was given to mankind, Redeeming him from sin.
To seal the believer there needed to be another Gift given. Jesus needed;
to die on the cross and go back to the Father.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go
not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the
gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
After you heard the Word of Truth.......Faith
has to enter in to the Plan of God...For without faith it is impossible to please God...
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe
that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe
in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
We as Ministers of God have a calling
on our lives and must go forth under the anointing of the Holy Ghost and preach the Gospel.
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity
is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
There
must be an anointing of the Holy Ghost to break the bonds of iniquity.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach
the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of
sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Jesus
said......
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
After we are made free, Then we are
sealed by the Holy Ghost.
Friday
June 14, 2002:
God has by his Spirit revealed to me that I should now deal with the
Presence of God.
Presence:
Strong’s Greek; Meaning
Going back to the Beginning; when Adam, and Eve was in the garden that God had prepared for them:
one would have thought that God would have placed his prize creation into an environment where there could be no wrong committed.
There in the Garden, or Paradise, was to be a choice to be made.
The reason is; that if God was to have someone to worship him by choice, he had to put a choice
before them; so that they could choose whether to serve him, or to reject him.
We today have the same choice, and we too today, can’t understand why God doesn’t
remove all temptations from us altogether:
The Apostle Paul came to this situation when he realized that there were present with him: Two Members
working in him.
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body
of this death?. He was so miserable with this war that was going on that he prayed Thrice for the one to be taken out of him,
or for to be delivered from the presence of the messenger of Satan:
For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from
me.
Now
this bring us back to the Garden: Adam had known no sin, or wrong, They, had only known Good: Who is Good? Jesus said:
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is,
God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is,
God.
Adam
and Eve only knew God, and only knew the presence of God in the Garden,
The question now is; How did the opposite of God, Evil, get
into the Garden, or Paradise?
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy
covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle,
and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
The cedars
in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches;
nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty. [9] I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches:
so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
God
had Created the most Honored Angelic Being and Had Adorned This Angel with The most Honor that anyone could imagine and Crowned
him with Beauty that was unimaginable.
God
reached down into the Clay of this Earth, and picked up a handful of Dust.
Started
to shape into it, another living soul; Satan the most admirable Angle; went into a rage.
It made him Angry. At that point of the era; He Satan, Started
to put into motion, the most unruly member; the Tongue.
Satan convinced one third of the Angles that Admired him for
his beauty, and those that envied him.
This was the evidence; that there was sin in the mist of the
Angles;.
Because
they Envied Satan.
They did not have any trouble listing, or following his advice.
When he approached Even in the Garden, and said that God had said; "Thou shall
not eat of the tree of knowledge; of good and evil": he had a host of support there to help convince her to partake of the
fruit. Genesis
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the
Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
[2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of
the trees of the garden:
And
the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
This was the downward move of God's Creation of His precious creation, heading downward toward the
pit. Today we go through the Holy Ghost enter into the presence of God.
Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall
dwell in thy presence.
On the day of Pentecost, when all those that gathered together:
They became one in the spirit, and all their thoughts were on God.
They worshiped him, and at the time of refreshing; He poured
out of his spirit, and the presence of God was there with them like it was when God walked in the Garden with Adam and
Eve in the cool of the day.
These 120 Experienced the presence of God in their mist; as
they had never experienced before.
Even when Jesus was walking among them, and all the miracles being done
in their presence; they did not know what the Joy of God was, and could not understand all that Jesus had revealed to them;
while he walked among them.
They had received the promise that God had made to Adam and Eve....The promise that they would Live
forever in the presence of God the Father.
It is no wonder: there was a sound like a very rushing
wind, and it fill the house.
When we come into the presence of God through the Holy Ghost; there is a sound of Praise, or there
should be praises; that the World cannot understand.
It is Joy unspeakable, and full of Glory.
God
through the Holy Ghost reveals to his Children the promises that he himself wants to be in our presence and that he wants
us to choose to be in his presence.
We are not to Glory in the flesh.
All glory should be in the God of Glory.
That no flesh should glory in his presence.
When
Stephen was in the presence of the Satanic Forces, His countenance was altered to the point that the enemy could not bear
to look upon his face. When we are in the presence of God through the Holy Ghost the enemy cannot bear to look upon us and
will either flee or will find himself mustering up all the help he can muster up and come against the power of or the Presence
of God.
This
is the Devil’s only way to deter the work of God is to persecute the ones that God has saved and by doing so he can
alter the plan of God to the extent that he can be the determining factor as to what goes on in the world among the people
of God. Paul warned that they would creep in and not spare the flock:
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter
in among you, not sparing the flock.
This
means that they, the enemy’s disciples will not regard the desire of the lord toward his children.
Ester came before King Esther 5:6
(KJV)
And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition?
and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel,
and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in
the royal house, over against the gate of the house. [2] And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the
court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. So
Esther drew near, and touched the top of the scepter. [3] Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what
is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes,
and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry; [2] And
came even before the king's gate: for none might enter into the king's gate clothed with sackcloth. [3] And in every province,
whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping,
and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
[4] So Esther's maids and her chamberlains came and told it her. Then
was the queen exceedingly grieved; and she sent raiment to clothe Mordecai, and to take away his sackcloth from him: but he
received it not. [5] Then called Esther for Hatach, one of the king's chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend upon her,
and gave him a commandment to Mordecai, to know what it was, and why it was. [6] So Hatach went forth to Mordecai unto the
street of the city, which was before the king's gate. [7] And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of
the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them. [8] Also he gave
him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare
it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before
him for her people. [9] And Hatach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai.
[10] Again Esther spake unto Hatach, and gave him commandment unto Mordecai;
[11] All the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall
come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom
the king shall hold out the golden scepter, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty
days. [12] And they told to Mordecai Esther's words. [13] Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself
that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews.
Here the enemy was trying to wipe out the Jews completely and had devised a plan and
with his persuasion convinced those around him, whom he had influenced to follow his advise and Had almost completed his mission,
so he thought, but there is there the promises that god had made to Adam and Eve in the garden that there would be a seed
that would come forth and that seed would bruise his Head, or his power, Every device that the devil puts in our path is a
device that is used to defeat him.
Haman wanted to be placed on the list of those that would be favored by the king and
he didn’t want to allow those people of God that he had brought out of a great deliverance from the bondage of Egypt
to rise again to the level where his position would be threatened.
He was building his on Gallows to hang himself on.
Many today in the church who love preeminence among the church build devices to keep
the work of God at distance or completely out of their presence, only to find they themselves are only devising to themselves
the instruments of unrighteousness to bring their ways to a swift end.
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence
among them, receiveth us not.
We want to be in the presence of God when we have fully obeyed the voice
of the Lord and like Adam and Eve we hide ourselves in the middle of society when we disobey God’s word and are afraid
to enter into his presence.
The words were said of Adam and Eve, We were afraid and hid
ourselves, why would they want to hide? because the presence of God demands that we obey his voice.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his
servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Adam
and Eve decided to obey Satan instead of God and this brought condemnation unto death and fear fell upon them and they ran
and hid themselves among the trees and began to realize for the first time that they were naked and that their nakedness appeared
before their eyes and also to all the beast of the field.
We too hide and try to cover our sins when the condemnation
comes from God to bring to light the hidden things that are dishonest.
But
have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Walk
in the Light:
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you.
Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
We
walk in the light or we stumble and fall.
Adam and Eve had the light and they chose to live in darkness and therefore
they were driven out of the presence of God.
Cain was the results of the disobedience, He could not bear to offer to God an acceptable
offering. He wanted to offer the offering that he thought would be that of his carnal thinking. God was not pleased and his
countenance fell and rage arose up and caused jealousy to dominate his spirit and while he could not bear the rejection of
God, he decided to take actions according to his carnal nature and he rose up and killed his brother Abel, who had offered
an acceptable offering to God. This is what happens to those who are doing what they want too and not what God wants them
to do.
Why is the church in such an uproar someone has said?. could it be that the offering that we offer are
the carnal offerings and that we feel that we have done out duty when we pay our tithes and that buys us the right to take
preeminence among the rest of those that are around us. In doing so we seek the authority to dictate to others what we think
is the right way, The bible tells to search the scriptures:
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and
they are they which testify of me.
This is the key to the truth. Our testimony must be pleasing to God. Enoch had
a testimony that he pleased God. Able had a testimony that he pleased God. on the other hand, Cain decided to testify carnally
and his testimony was rejected and that drove him into anger and he took out the anger on his brother, because he had to blame
his anger on someone. many times when we are in a rage of anger there has to be someone to blame for what we ourselves is
to blame, then we take it out on those closest to us and thereby we destroy the spirit of fellowship and then the presence
of God is not there, We then fly off the handle like Cain and depart out of the presence of God and go into the land of Nod=+
Vagrancy + Vanished. What Cain did was vanish out of the present of God. to a land which could be call; “The land of
Cain”. Cain began to fortify himself and in those times the stature of their recognition was to build a city. This was
their identity . That was the reason of the Towers of Babel:
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and
Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Satan
wanted to be like God;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most
High.
Satan
wanted to set in the congregation:
Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the
north, the city of the great King.
The Psalmist describes the joy of all the Earth and it location. Mount Zion, The mountain of God.
We have come to the mount that can be touched by our infirmities:
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;
but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Satan
could not come to the mount of God and humble himself, therefore he wanted to be higher than God.
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Satan
met his defeat at the cross, He was defeated there and has no access to the mount of God anymore and not only has he been
defeated he has been sentenced to hid total banishment from the presence of God and to all those who have the testimony of
Jesus and who walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with
the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: [2] And she being with child cried, travailing
in birth, and pained to be delivered. [3] And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having
seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. [4] And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and
did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child
(Jesus) as soon as it was born. [5] And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and
her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. [6] And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared
of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. [7] And there was war in heaven: Michael
and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, [8] And prevailed not; neither was their place
found any more in heaven. [9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. [10] And I heard a loud voice saying
in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of
our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. [11] And they overcame him by the blood of the
Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. [12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens,
and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having
great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. [13] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth,
he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. [14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that
she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the
face of the serpent. [15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her
to be carried away of the flood. [16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the
flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. [17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the
remnant of her seed, (The Church) which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
