[2] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet
were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great
authority.
[3] And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his
deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
[4] And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:
and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
[5] And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and
blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
[6] And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme
his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
[7] And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to
overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
[8] And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names
are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
[9] If any man have an ear, let him hear.
[10] He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that
killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Matthew 13:44
(KJV) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for
joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Acts 17:24 (KJV)
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with
hands;
If you and I try to please God by doing with our hands and creating
those things that Glorify the flesh, we will and cannot be accepted by God. You and I must look into the perfect law of liberty
in order to be set free from the bondage that Satan has placed upon mankind.
James 1:25 (KJV) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty,
and continuity therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed
in his deed.
My son and I was returning home from College today and the discussion
came up about Physics. He said, “Dad I will have to take Physics in order to graduate in the course that I am taking”.
We begin to discuss some things that I think that is and will be beneficial to those who read this document. My son has a
tutor that tutors him in Algebra. The tutor said that she only got a grade of 48 on the test that she took in Physics, then
he went on to say that she had the privilege of taking the test home with her to review and to be able to correct her mistakes
and then submit the results once again to the instructor and that she was able to raise the grade from 48 to 68. This would
let her pass the exam. At that I begin to explain that the subject is a very hard subject and since it is required in the
course that the institution knew that she would never use the contains in the course in her everyday life. I explained that
it would be like someone who was to be president of the United States and had the ability to do the job, but couldn’t
wash a load of clothes in a General Electric dryer. Since he had to know how to wash clothes in a General Electric dryer,
he couldn’t be president. We are acquainted with many subjects in our Education endeavors that might never or hardly
ever be put to use in our particular work field. The colleges expose us to different areas of the subjects of the job classifications
in this world. That brought up the thought that I began to explain to my son, the thought of the existence of the two inward
struggles of our very being and accomplishments. The Apostle Paul, being taught by the finest Teacher of the Law, and I might
say, gave to his ability the credentials that did qualify him to accomplish the very task that was desired of Paul. At that
time his name was Saul, He was of Tarsus. Paul set at the feet of gamaliel [Acts
22:3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at
the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward
God, as ye all are this day.], who, in that time was one that had the
wisdom of the world and had dispensed that wisdom to Saul. Saul then took that wisdom and with the help of those who was his
acquaintances, went out into the word to accomplish his task, We might say that he was great in his task, except that he had
not, while knowing the wisdom of the world, he had no understanding of the deep hidden things of his own self. In every one
that is born into this world there is a God given gift that lies deep into the inner being of that Soul. Jesus was the light
that lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
John 1:9 (KJV) That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that
cometh into the world.
That means that when we are come into this world that God has given
us Life. God has given us the ability to know both good and evil. God wanted Adam and Eve to only know Good, and when we are
infants that is formed in the womb, we haven't yet done good or Evil.
Romans 9:11 (KJV) (For the children being not yet born, neither having
done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
At a time of our beginning we do not have the knowledge to do either
good or Evil. Adam when he was created he was taken from the Dust of the Earth and God breathed upon him and he became a living
Soul. Genesis 2:7 (KJV) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of
life; and man became a living soul.
1 Cor. 15:45 (KJV) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made
a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
This is the difference or should I say the Two members that lie inside
of each of us. You can be a living soul and not be a living Spirit. This was what the purpose of the coming of Christ unto
this world, Jesus was to come and make each of us a Living Spirit, or should I say, a quickening spirit. There are thirteen
references to being quickened in the Bible and twelve of those references are written by David in the Psalms. and the other
one is written by Paul in the letter to the Romans. This first one that David wrote in Psalms 71:20 states that the Lord God
had showed to him great and sore troubles. Haven’t we, as Christians, known great and sore troubles?. We have been exposed
to enough knowledge to make one think in himself that there would not be any good come from some of the troubling experiences
that we encounter.
Psalm 71:20 (KJV) Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore
troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
The Apostle Paul had the world by the tail as the saying goes, or
at least, he thought he had the world by the tail. That is, until he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. There on the road
to Damascus, he met up with that Quickening Spirit. Paul was alienated from God, although he had sat and was taught by Gamaliel,
he had not yet known the one that had given him light and had made him a vessel for the special work that was to be done for
the Glory of God.
Psalm 80:18 (KJV) So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and
we will call upon thy name.
The Psalmist is saying here, we must be Quickened by the Lord or we
cannot accomplish any good in this life. In the deep inner man lies the ability to accomplish anything, both good and evil.
Genesis 11:6 (KJV) And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and
they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined
to do.
If God lets us continue on in our own abilities, we too could, and
would not have any boundaries. Paul thought that there were no boundaries to him. God even set boundaries on the Devil.
Daniel 11:45 (KJV) And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace
between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
Satan in all of his majesty only was given the liberty to bring to
pass that which David had hoped for. David had in his inner man, a seed of faith, and David longed to see this seed grow up
as a tender plant.
God through the Holy Ghost, gave the prophet Isaiah the words that
would assure each soul that had come into the word, that there would be hope, and that hope was Jesus Christ. There was no
beauty in him as he was nailed to the cross. His own follows, even his mother stood far off and wondered. He was covered with
the shame of the sins of the world, Satan was leaving on the Son of God the very marks that he has left on mankind since Cain
rose up and Slain his brother Able.
Isaiah 53:2 (KJV) For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant,
and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should
desire him.
Paul saw firsthand the results of his own destination for himself
and to those who followed after the ways of the world, and those who followed after the hope that the Psalmist followed after.
Paul read from the book of Psalms but the sin of the flesh hid from him the real Quickening Spirit.
Man comes into the world with the ability to achieve just about anything
that he desires.
I was explaining to my son that some have more difficulty than others,
in achieving their desires. Paul said, after he became converted, what he would do, that he did it not. and what he didn’t
want to do, that he did. Paul concluded that that it wasn’t him that was in control. The thing that controlled him,
was Sin.
Romans 7:17 (KJV) Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that
dwelleth in me.
Romans 7:20 (KJV) Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that
do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
This is what David had trouble with. David came to the same conclusion
that Paul came to and that you and I have to come too. If the Lord does not help us we are nothing and are failure’s
in this world and would go back and sin against the Lord and without the Help of the Lord, we would all perish.
The Prophet Habakkuk stated in prophesying of the very thought of
man when he is faced with the forces of the world and the forces of God’s Spirit, he shall pass over the boundaries
that have been set by God and then he becomes a offence.
Habakkuk 1:11 (KJV) Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass
over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
Each one of us can pass over the same boundaries somewhere in life.
Some choose early in life that they will go after the world and care not for the things that pertain to God. Some will go
through life and never make a decision to follow after the ways of God. David wanted the help of the lord with him always.
David knew, without the Lord, he could not and would not ever enter into the presence of God the Father. Man was driven out
into the worldly environment and became familiar with every trial and temptation. Thanks to God, for providing a escape to
each and every one.
1 Cor. 10:13 (KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as
is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation
also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
As Paul earned his degree in this world, we too look to our intuitions
for the wisdom to go about our everyday life. What we need to do is as David and Paul both realized, we need to know and look
down in the depth of our Soul and realize that it is God that directs our everyday paths.
King Solomon had given instructions to his son, he said to get wisdom,
but he also said to get Understanding.
Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding.
It is good to have knowledge, but without understanding, you really
don’t have anything. Peter come to know the wisdom giver and seen it in action first hand when he saw the miracles and
the great blessings bestowed upon the people as Jesus walked among the world and the world wondered at the things that he
did. Many that did not have the understanding that they needed, went away and followed not. Peter and the others that knew
and saw Jesus as very human, and yet Lord, needed to have their understanding opened and needed to have their soul quickened.
Jesus asked the question,
John 21:5 (KJV) Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any
meat? They answered him, No.
There they were, all of them weary from the toil of the earthly choirs,
they had lost hope and this Jesus was taken from their presence, they felt hopeless and went back to doing what they were
accustomed to doing, Many after they hear the Gospel turn toward the living way and when temptations come, they turn away
and go back into the ways of the world, and as the Psalmist said...
Psalm 119:25 (KJV) My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken
thou me according to thy word.
What I was saying to my son, coming from the college, is that each
of us need to take the wisdom, which is hard to obtain, we need to take the wisdom with understanding and realize that, even
though, we are wise in the things of this life, we need to be wise in knowing that it is the Spirit of the Lord that directs
our paths. God will lead us by the still waters. God will restore our soul. God will provide us a table in the presence of
our enemies. Our cup will run over. We will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Goodness and Mercy shall follow us all
of the days of our life.
Psalm 119:37 (KJV) Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and
quicken thou me in thy way.
We are to first come to God and believe that he is God and a reward
to those that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) But without faith it is impossible to please
him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.
Most institutions want you to achieve your Goal, but you must choose
to achieve that goal in a manner that will be a benefit to, not only you, but will benefit others in this life also. Remember
that none of us live to ourselves. James 1:22 (KJV) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own
selves.
1 John 2:27 (KJV) But the anointing which ye have received of him
abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth,
and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
Psalm 119:40 (KJV) Behold, I have longed after thy precepts:
quicken me in thy righteousness.
Precepts: »Strong's Help piqquwd, Hebrew 6490, Strong's piqquwd, pik-kood'; or piqqud, pik-kood'; from Hebrew 6485 (paqad);
properly appointed, i.e. a mandate (of God; plural only, collective for the Law) :- commandment, precept, statute.
David, like us today, in the flesh was very weak and sinful. David
committed sins of Murder, Adultery. David was guilty of trying to cover up his sins and hide them from Uriah.
2 Samuel 11:11 (KJV) And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel,
and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go
into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this
thing.
David had lusted and coveted Uriah’s wife and this is strictly
forbidden in the ten commandants:
Exodus 20:17 (KJV) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou
shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing
that is thy neighbour's.
David did the unimaginable sin. If anyone deserved to be destroyed,
you would have thought that this would be the one that would have gotten him destroyed. After he had committed the sin of
Adultery, David then went on to try to hide the sin. David could not hide the thing that had taken place. Bath Sheba had become
pregnant with David’s child. David could not get Uriah to lie with his wife while the soldiers that was fighting the
battles at that time, and Uriah was committed to what was honorable, in this he was more righteous than David was. David went
a step further to add to his sins. David commanded that Uriah be put into the battle front in the most fierce action. David
now wanted to get Uriah killed. By having him killed, this would free Bath Sheba so that he could take her to his wife. Now
the conclusion of this sin was, David, when asked of God, what penalty would he choose, he chose to let God make the choice
for him. It was strange that he, after committing the sins like he did, now he says to God, you choose the penalty for me.
David was in essence the Law in himself. David was like us today, he thought that he could do anything and get away with it.
Jimmy Swag art made the statement when he committed Adultery, he said: quote... “ I thought that I could get away with
anything”. God has said that we can be sure that our sins will find us out.
Numbers 32:23 (KJV) But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned
against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.
We are to possess the Kingdom. we are commanded to Love one another.
This love to one another is not as one man said, I love my neighbor's wife. What God did for us was exemplify his love on
the Cross, and David knew that if God did not quicken his flesh and keep him in the righteousness of God that he was doomed
to hell. Notice in the next verse that he wanted to be Quickened after God’s loving-kindness. No man can give this to
anyone, this type of Quickening can come only through the Holy Ghost. This is what and the reason that Paul wanted to know
whether the certain disciples had received the Holy Ghost since they believed. Today, we see many that go to different churches
and believe many different types of Doctrines and are bound by those traditions that have been taught by those who are there,
deceived, and are deceiving those who sit at their feet, just as Paul sat at the feet of Gamaliel and was deceived, these
today are being deceived. The question that needs to be asked, is, Have you Received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?. Paul
believed on God and went to commit murder and went against the commandants of God. Paul thought that he was the Law, and was
in one sense, not held accountable by those who through the powers of Darkness, took what God had given and turned it into
self motivated actions, those actions was not bringing Glory to God in any way. Those actions were directed by Satan. Satan
has took the Kingdom and possessed it up until John the Baptist.
Matthew 11:12 (KJV) And from the days of John the Baptist until now
the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Satan has his own Kingdom and his kingdom is of this earth. Satan
met up with his Superior at the Cross. Satan now does not, I emphasize, does not have access to the Kingdom of God anymore.
Satan is out to kill and destroy, only if we allow him to deceive us. I say this very strongly that you will not through mankind,
be able to get the strength that you need to overcome Satan. This strength only comes through the Holy Ghost. This is the
Quickening Spirit, Not as the first Adam, but the Second Adam, which was Jesus Christ. Have you Received the Holy Ghost since
ye believed?. It will be the Holy Ghost that sweeps down over your soul and Quickens your mortal bodies and make you a flaming
torch for the Lord. God help each of us to realize that this world will soon be dissolved. If your treasures are here in this
life and not in Heaven, then you will be dissolved along with the earth, but remember you will stand before the Judgment of
God and be judged. It is important for our sins to go to the judgment before the judgment takes place. Jesus took our sins
and took them and cast them into the depth of the Sea, this is the Sea of Forgiveness and this is what is needed for you and
I.
Psalm 119:88 (KJV) Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so
shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
Exodus 25:21-22 (KJV) And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon
the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
The Law that Moses received was the Testimony that God gave to the
Israelites to guide them to the redeemer that was to come. That redeemer was Jesus Christ.
[22] And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee
from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will
give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. The ark of the testimony was the very essence of God coming and communing
with mankind. We today are over comers by our Testimony. I want to point out that the Testimony that we put forth, is it much
of the time the testimony of what we are thinking in our minds, this is not necessary the testimony that is of God. All through
the bible the commandant came to man through man. The prophet, if he was sensitive to Gods spirit would only speak the things
that God gave him to speak. When Moses was sent by God to the children of Israel there in bondage in Egypt, he asked God,
who shall I say that has sent me. God replied to Moses... Just say... “I Am hath sent ye.’ When the I Am says
for us to go and speak, then and then only will God bring to pass the words that we speak. We are not to speak as speaking
into the air. 1 Cor. 14:9 (KJV) So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall
it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.
There is confusion today in the mist of the churches as carnal minded
people, who cannot discern the voice of God from the voice of Satan. When God speaks through the Holy Ghost there is no doubt
as to the authority of that voice. I have been in meetings where the sound system went dead and at that precise moment the
Holy Ghost spoke through and individual and the voice was so clear that there was no need for a sound system. Everyone in
the place was moved upon by the Holy Ghost and people, including the ministers and the pastors headed to the Alter. God came
and met with us just like he did there in the tabernacle in the wilderness and today the mercy seat is still above and the
Lord Jesus is seated in the Mercy seat. His presence is there with the Father and he is continuing to make intercessions for
us. Where is our intercessory testimony? We seem to be so busy for the lord that we forget that God is only interested in
one thing. that is the redemption of lost souls. God is aware of all the things that we suffer by the hand of Satan. Most
of us wonder what and where did God go. We feel that God has left us. You can be sure that God is touched by our infirmities
and knows just where we live and he knows our phone number. but he don’t call on a telephone, he calls us by his hot
line and that line is the Holy Ghost. God doesn’t deliver by great shaking experiences.
Zech. 4:6 (KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is
the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
God will not deliver the United States and has not delivered the United
States or any nation with the military might. It is not Bombs and missiles that gets the job done. It is the Spirit of God
that takes us to victory. My concern is that the people of the United States, and the people of all other nations that have
known what God has done for them, that they have put their trust in their military might. We now find that sin is on a rampage
among the common people and those that God has called and forgiven, that they turn back to the rudiments of the world and
forget that it was Jesus Christ that redeemed them.
2 Chron. 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will
forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
This promise is to any and all who have forgotten who had delivered
them, just as the Israelites forgot their maker, I am afraid that many have forgotten their maker.

Exodus 31:18 (KJV) And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end
of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Exodus 34:29 (KJV) And it came to pass, when Moses came down from
mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the
skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
Psalm 19:7 (KJV) The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
Isaiah 8:16 (KJV) Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my
disciples.
Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak
not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
John 3:33 (KJV) He that hath received his testimony hath set to his
seal that God is true.
John 5:34 (KJV) But I receive not testimony from man: but these things
I say, that ye might be saved.
Rev. 15:5 (KJV) And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of
the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
Rev. 19:10 (KJV) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said
unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for
the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Psalm 119:107 (KJV) I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord,
according unto thy word.
Psalm 119:149 (KJV) Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness:
O Lord, quicken me according to thy judgment.
Psalm 119:154 (KJV) Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according
to thy word.
Psalm 119:156 (KJV) Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken
me according to thy judgments.
Psalm 119:159 (KJV) Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me,
O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.
Psalm 143:11 (KJV) Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake:
for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
Romans 8:11 (KJV) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus
from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies
Let us say as the Psalmist said, and the Apostle confirmed, be Quickened
by the Spirit that is in us.
Paul saw another member inside him, that is the member that is infused
into our lives and can only live there by the willingness of us to allow him to dwell there. God the Father and the Holy Ghost
wants to abide with and inside of us and wants to fellowship with us as we journey through this life.
These three are one and they want the same thing. They want to, after
this journey that we are on, comes to the end, deliver you to the Father of Love and Mercy. Not only do they desire to be
present in our lives, they want to guide us in truth so that our time that is spent here on earth, can be a blessing to ourselves
and to others. The only way some individuals will ever come to know God is for you and I to allow the Spirit to radiate through
our lives unto them. We are epistles.
2 Cor. 3:2 (KJV) Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and
read of all men:
We must understand what is involved in the quickening that the psalmist
was referring too.
»Strong's Help zoopoieo, Greek 2227, Strong's zoopoieo, dzo-op-oy-eh'-o;
from the same as Greek 2226 (zoon) and Greek 4160 (poieo); to (re-) vitalize (literal or figurative) :- make alive,
give life, quicken.
God will raise us up at the resurrection of the saints, and will transform
those who are still alive at his coming.
1 Cor. 15:51-57 (KJV) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all
sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Paul wanted to reveal to those and to us that this resurrection that
he was talking about was a mystery, that is, a mystery to those who, had not had their understanding opened. We know that
the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:8 (KJV) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please
God.
As the disciples looked upon Jesus as he walked among them; they were
guilty of looking at him in the human form and by being in the form of flesh... it was hard to relate to them the spiritual
man that he was. This is why that Paul wanted to make sure that we know Christ after the Spiritual, and, not after the mortal
man.
2 Cor. 5:16 (KJV) Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh:
yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
This is why the disciples turned and walked away in sorrow, when Jesus
was crucified, they had their hope based on what they saw with their eyes. This is the message that I want to convey to you,
you that run here and there, and chase after great men of admiration, you will find that when the fair they are gone from
your mist, you will feel empty and sorrow will take hold of you. This is what those who were on the road to Emmaus.
Luke 24:13-29 (KJV) And, behold, two of them went that same day to
a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
[14] And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
[15] And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned,
Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
[16] But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
Notice here, that they were sorrowful and their hope had come to a
standstill. Jesus, the man, notice this was what the related to, the Man, not this man called Jesus, a great prophet indeed,
this is the point I want you to understand, the great man that utters the words of God and does many miracles in your presence,
many a times and in many saints, that the man, not the Spirit, takes the upfront position and receives the Glory instead of
the Spirit, which is what moves the mortal man, Let this sink down deep into your understanding, that Jesus would and did
not Glorify himself while he was in the human form. Jesus asked the Father to Glorify him.
John 17:5 (KJV) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
What Jesus wanted was the Quickening Spirit of the Father to Make
him Alive beyond that of what he was, and what he was, was the word made flesh. Jesus was in the flesh and we must remember
that while he was in the flesh that the power of God the Father was given to him to do the things that he did.
Matthew 28:18 (KJV) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
This power was given from Heaven and not the Power of the Earth and
the
Principalities of Satan. These, that were walking and talking to each
other, had not yet been filled with the Holy Ghost, and they couldn’t understand why that Jesus should be killed and
just jerked out of their presence. You need to relate in the same way that they related in order to understand what was taking
place in their minds. When we hear the word of God and come to the knowledge of the saving grace of God.
God wants to set us apart for a greater experience. Satan at that
time comes and with the forces of evil, he is able to snatch or grab, or to steal that word from us. This is why the parable
of the seed was given to us , that we might have our understanding enlightened and that when we hear the word; that the word
will find its way down deep into our hearts and not of that of our mind, your mind can imagine anything and does, so we need
a deeper understanding of the Spirit. I emphasize that a believer needs to have the same experience that that those two had
as they communed with each other on the road to Emmaus. If you will commune, that is the opening door that the Spirit needs.
These two were talking about what had happened and was curious and sorrowful, this was the promise that God had made, that
he was near to a sorrowful, or a contrite, Spirit.
Psalm 34:18 (KJV) The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken
heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Isaiah 66:2 (KJV) For all those things hath mine hand made, and all
those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and
trembles at my word.
Here we have the two verses coming alive on the road while these followers
of Christ are communing and wondering what will take place next. The Bible states that our minds should be upon the Lord;
Isaiah 26:3 (KJV) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind
is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
[17] And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these
that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
[18] And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto
him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
They only recognized Jesus as the Savior that was in human form. Here
he was, as he promised, walking along with them, but they in their sorrow, was so involved in trying to figure out what went
wrong and what they were to do next, they didn’t realize that he was there with them, walking along with them. His promise
to never leave them, and to be with them always was coming to pass at that very moment. Does this fit our description, as
we go along life and think that Jesus is nowhere and that we feel left along and don’t know what to do next. Could you
and I ever realize that Christ is there. You might say how do I know that he is there?
One way to know that he is there is to Praise him, no matter what
comes your way. Life holds many disappointments, and. if we let the disappointments take charge of our lives, we too, will
not recognize Christ. If we need a miracle to know that Jesus is in our presence, we are very weak in faith. Miracles comes
as the results of Faith, Faith is a substance, and not a myth.
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
As Jesus.
[19] And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning
Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
[20] And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be
condemned to death, and have crucified him.
[21] But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed
Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
Here they are, reasoning among themselves, thinking that he was a
deliver like Moses, and would have redeemed Israel. How carnal could they be? Like a lot of believers today, that think that
all their hope is determined by that of what happens over there in the land of Israel. We as humans read in the Bible, especially
in the Law, where it talks about the nation of Israel and we cannot see that the nation of Israel that the Bible is referring
to is The Israel of Above and not the Israel of the Earth. Remember it was the Jews that said to Jesus,. “ Crucify Him”
. It was the Jews that Jesus had come to and these ones that stood in front of him denied him and wanted no part of him. Jesus
even called them the Devil, or the children of the Devil, I ask you how Holy was Jerusalem at that time. The only Holiness
that could be found, was not in the Temple made with hands, the Holiness that Jesus found came from the hearts of those who
came to sit at the feet of the man called Jesus. Even those who sat at his feet had lost hope when he was taken from their
mist, as these on the road. I have some strong words to you that hide under the skirts of a carnal Jew. You need to be filled
with the knowledge of the Holy Ghost and realize that your hope is not in the flesh and this fleshly kingdom of this present
world. Your hope is in the Israel of Above.
Galatians 4:26 (KJV) But Jerusalem which is above is free,
which is the mother of us all.
Galatians 4:22-5:1 (KJV) For it is written, that Abraham had two
sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
[23] But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh;
but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Here in the next verse is what You that trust in the Israel of the
flesh need to Compare.
[24] Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants;
the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. »Strong's Help allegoreo, Greek 238, Strong's
allegoreo, al-lay-gor-eh'-o; from Greek 243 (allos) and agoreo (to harangue [compare Greek 58 (agora)]); to allegorize
:- be an allegory [the Greek word itself].
You have the covenant that was given to Abraham which was.
Genesis 17:10-14 (KJV) This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between
me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
[11] And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and
it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
[12] And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you,
every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not
of thy seed.
[13] He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy
money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
[14] And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin
is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
What you are looking at, when you look toward Jerusalem for your hope,
Is the Circumcision of the flesh and have made that the token of what should be in your heart. Remember, that God, gave this
covenant to Abraham as a shadow of the Circumcision that would come to those who had believed that Jesus, who was the seed,
that was to come. would come to fulfill the promise that was given to Abraham. This promise was not to seeds of many, but
to only one seed, and that Seed was Jesus, and that seed was in Abraham and when God wanted Abraham to be circumcised, this
was an outward shadow of the circumcision of the foreskin of the Heart. God at that time, by having them to circumcise the
foreskin of each male, wanted to show that the man that was circumcised of the Heart would be, as the male that was circumcised,
would be able to perform better and able to produce children without difficulty. The same applies to those who have had the
doubt erased from their heart, and their understanding, opened. Those who are of the seed of Abraham, including those who
were bought, and we today are bought with a price:
1 Cor. 6:20 (KJV) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify
God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Cor. 7:23 (KJV) Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants
of men.
It doesn’t make any difference to God, whether you are a Jew
or Gentile or Greek, black or white or what race you are, you will have and do have the same right to access the Throne of
Grace. Can’t you see what is happening today?. The same thing among the churches is taking place just like it was when
Christ came and died. Carnality had set itself up in the Temple that was made by hands, and also, in doing so, it set itself
up in the Temple of God. This temple that stood there was destroyed. Jesus said that the Temple that stood there would not
be standing. Why would he say such a thing. It simply was that this is where Satan had made himself a haven and was in the
process of doing what the Prophets had Prophesied. Isaiah 14:13-14 (KJV) For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend
into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides
of the north:
[14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like
the most High.
Satan entered into the flesh and by doing so he was able to exalt
the flesh to a point that the flesh got more Glory than God did. Satan, the Abomination that maketh desolate was there in
the heart of those Jews that trusted in formalities. God had given the covenant and the Law to guide mankind back to the Father
by dealing with man through all the failures and the reason of the Law, was to point mankind to Christ that was to come and
to let man know how sinful that he was. In other words, the law was to the Lawless. Man, has always taken the commandants
and without mercy, went about holding power over those who are weaker vessels, this is why the women of today are being delivered
of the bondage that has for so long been placed upon them. Women want freedom, some women want to take this freedom, just
like a lot of Christians want to take their freedom, and do what they want to, and hold power over others or to use their
liberality to gain superiority over each other. The Jews, when they took dominion over other, which they were very good at,
they built a wall between the Gentiles. This wall was so high that the Gentile, especially the women, couldn’t climb
over it. Jesus came and removed that wall. The only way that you and I can get over that wall is to go through the Holy Ghost.
This was what took Paul away from killing the saints and turned him into another and the right direction. This experience
was what was to take place shortly, to those who were communing with each other. They were thinking. as the flesh would think,
that Jesus was to show special favor to the Jews and sit up a kingdom for just them. To their surprise the kingdom that was
to be set up, was there walking along side of them. The Jews always made it clear that they had Abraham as their father and
they were right, Abraham was their father, but remember the one was born of the bondwomen, representing the flesh, and the
Jews by denying Jesus was and did put their hope in the flesh and this made them in bondage to the flesh and made them a child
of Ishmael.
Esau was a portrayal of the flesh. Remember he sold his birthright.
Genesis 25:31-34 (KJV) And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
[32] And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit
shall this birthright do to me?
[33] And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him:
and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
[34] Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did
eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
One would think, how foolish, but are we today selling our spiritual
birthright for a few moments of pleasure?. Many today sell their soul to Satan for a fix or sex, or many other things that
comes to us to tempt us.
Mount Sinai, where the Law was given, was the place that God come
close to destroying everyone except Moses, At the Cross, God was once again getting ready to destroy mankind, but this time,
as he told Moses, I will make a new Nation with you.
Deut. 9:14 (KJV) Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out
their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.
As God wanted to make a new nation, God did through his Son, raised
a Spiritual Nation up, and that nation consists of all mankind that will come to him and confess their sins and be converted
and filled with his Holy Ghost. The next verse was the promise to the Greek and Jew ..Gentile. these two that communed realized
that Jesus came not only to the Jews but wanted all to come to the Promise.
1 John 2:25 (KJV) And this is the promise that he hath promised us,
even eternal life.
This promise is fulfilled in the next two verses.
Genesis 21:13 (KJV) And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make
a nation, because he is thy seed.
Deut. 4:34 (KJV) Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation
from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched
out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
As God delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt, Egypt is mentioned
in
Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 31:18 (KJV) To whom art thou thus like in glory and in
greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts
of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh
and all his multitude, saith the Lord God.
Paul referred to this trusting in the flesh.
Philip. 3:4 (KJV) Though I might also have confidence in the flesh.
If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
The Jews, there when Christ came, had been deceived, just like a lot
today is being deceived into trusting in the flesh.
The next verse makes this plain and simply that we, when we trust
in the flesh, we are the children of Agar. We place ourselves into bondage and cannot please God and this is in my opinion
why that our prayers are not answered.
[25] For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem
which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
This next verse is those who have the Spirit and who walk not after
the flesh.
[26] But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of
us all.
When someone tells you that, comparing you to that of themselves,
who are not wise,(2 Cor. 10:12 (KJV) For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend
themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. ) remember
this verse.
[27] For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break
forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
You and I are the Israel of Above, if so that the Spirit dwells in
us. Romans 8:9 (KJV) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now
if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
[28] Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
END NOV 2,02
[29] But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that
was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
[30] Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman
and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman.
[31] So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but
of the free.
[5:1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made
us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
[22] Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished,
which were early at the sepulchre;
[23] And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they
had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
[24] And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre,
and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
[25] Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe
all that the prophets have spoken:
[26] Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter
into his glory?
[27] And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded
unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
[28] And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he
made as though he would have gone further.
[29] But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is
toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
Here is a clear illustration of how those that had their understanding
opened wanted Christ to come into their place of abode. You and I need to ask the Holy Ghost to come into our hearts and Abide
with us. When the Holy Ghost comes to take up residence in our hearts, it brings God to us through Jesus Christ. We think
sometime that we can earn the right for Christ to come to us. We are not able to work or earn this right. This right is given
solely on the willingness of us to let God take up his abode in our hearts. We must understand that God Is Love.
1 John 4:8 (KJV) He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
To know God is to Love, not only God, but we must love others also,
we must love even our enemy’s. Our first love that we have when God takes his abode, is pure. God's love is undefiled.
There is nothing that can separate us from this pure love. In the book of revelation, it was written to those in Ephesus,
that some had lost their first love. They were commanded that they must repent.
Rev. 2:4-5 (KJV) Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because
thou hast left thy first love. When we first repent and accept Christ, we come to him with repentance, We are confessing our
faults and sins to him. At that time Christ takes all our sins away and puts them into the sea of forgiveness. Our sins are
never to be remembered anymore.
Some would say that, since God always loves, we cannot be separated
from God. The next verse sheds some insight as to what is expected of us when we leave our first love and the results that
will follow, it, we do not correct this state that we have fallen into.
[5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent,
and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place,
except thou repent.
Notice he said that he would remove Thy Candlestick out of
his place. God has given us his Spirit and that Spirit is the Candle Stick that is to shine out to the world.
Luke 11:33 (KJV) No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth
it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
Here we can see from the word of God that it indicated that the one
that is to let his light shine, he got this light and placed it on a candlestick. You must seek the Holy Ghost when you receive
salvation, through forgiveness and that you can and will receive it by asking for it, then you must set it in your heart so
that the light of the flame of the Holy Ghost will shine and that the light must not be hid. The saying goes like this, “Use
it or Lose it.”
Water that stands still will stagnate and will not be fit for use
to quench a thirst. This is what has happened to a lot of individuals that God has forgiven. If I were to deposit into the
bank a million dollars and make the deposit account in your name and hand you the passbook and tell you all you need to do
is go to the bank and withdraw from the account the amount needed to suffice your needs, and you never go and make a withdraw,
you could boast of how much money you have in the bank, but you would not benefit from the money. The Holy Ghost is a deposit
of God. the Holy Ghost is the passbook to your account that God the father has deposited into your account and God expects
for you and I to withdraw from that account so that we are able to distribute to others that have not. This is the lighted
candle that God lights in our hearts and God expects us to let that light shine to others and that they will have hope too.
If we were to play the lottery and would win a multiple million dollar
winning ticket we would claim the winnings and would tell others that we have won and would share with others the winnings.
God has made us winners of more than a lottery. God has through the Holy Ghost taken us up to the throne of God and made us
to sit in Heavenly places.
Ephes. 2:6 (KJV) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together
in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
The thief on the cross was told by Jesus,
Luke 23:43 (KJV) And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee,
To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Some said I got it all when I got saved. Yes that is true but, did
God take you and all that he gave you and filled you up to the brim and make you ministers of righteousness? You had to be
equipped to become effective in the work that God had called you to. Peter was forgiven and was a child of God and Jesus kept
him, but, in order for Peter to minister to the needs of others, Peter had to be filled with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost
came on the day of Pentecost and there were 120 believers that had been forgiven and they believed on Jesus and followed him.
These one hundred twenty waited as the Lord commanded them to,
Acts 1:4 (KJV) And, being assembled together with them, commanded
them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of
me.
The trouble of many today, they want to receive from God the Forgiveness,
but they don’t want to go to the bank and make a withdraw from the account. They want to hide the money and want to
tell others of how much money they have in the bank. Some think that they can hide it and like the one mentioned in the bible,
find themselves having their account transferred to someone else.
Luke 8:18 (KJV) Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath,
to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Acts 1:20 (KJV) For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation
be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
Judas came to Jesus, and carried the money bag, but he was not willing
for Christ to come into his heart and dwell there. Judas fell because he sided with the Devil. Notice that Judas had every
opportunity to do and receive what Jesus had and would have given him. He lost his love and choose to let Satan come into
his heart.
John 13:27 (KJV) And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said
Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
We cannot have two masters.
Matthew 6:24 (KJV) No man can serve two masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
If you love this life and hold onto life as a security blanket, you
will lose your life. This brings us to the Point that many have fallen victim too. Remember that I have said that no flesh
can enter into the kingdom of God and that flesh and blood cannot please God. Then why do we put our trust in the flesh and
go after the things of the flesh? Why do we look to great personalities for our answers and our hope. This Paul had to say
about anyone that could hope in the flesh.
Philip. 3:4 (KJV) Though I might also have confidence in the flesh.
If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
You and I cannot put our trust in the flesh.
Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth
in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
I ask the question, can a man’s heart depart from the Lord.
You might say that Jesus became the curse for us and that we can do and depart from him and we will not ever be separated
from the Lord. You will never be separated from the love of God. God loved the World that he gave his only begotten son. Does
this mean that everyone that is in the world will enter into Heaven to be with the Lord? Certainly not, and neither will those
that have come to God and have been baptized and confessed their sins, who have the forgiveness of God. Some of them will
draw back. Hebrews 10:38-39 (KJV) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure
in him. Many will receive the word, but because of trials and tribulation, will make a choice to draw back and not serve Jesus.
Mark 4:5 (KJV) And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no
depth of earth:
Mark 4:16 (KJV) And these are they likewise which are sown on stony
ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
When the word falls into rich soil and soil that has potential to
grow and produce the word will take root and begin to bring forth fruit that others will want to eat of.
Matthew 13:23 (KJV) But he that received seed into the good ground
is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some
sixty, some thirty.
I can hope that this word that I have written will find its way into
good soil, a good heart that will receive it with gladness and that the word will take root in your life and begin to produce
fruit for God. I am convinced that as Paul, asked the Question, “Have you received the Holy Ghost since ye believed”,
we need to ask any and everyone that has called on God for forgiveness the same question. We might be surprised to hear that
they too, have not heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Why is ice cream socials been chosen in place of Holy Ghost revival?.
It is simply that God has warned and they have not heeded to the warning, and have turned to other things to justify themselves.
Look at the Pharisees and you can see clearly that formality will take the place of the Holy Ghost and that the light of the
Holy Ghost will be removed from his candlestick. That candlestick is you and I, and when that light or we might say, oil,
has run out, we are not able to trim our lights and when the bride groom comes into our mist we will not be able to see the
way. Those that trimmed their lamps had no Oil. They wanted to get their oil from others. Many today don’t have Oil
in their lamps, or should I say, have the Holy Ghost in their lives. These run to and fro to great preachers and go here and
there to find an experience, they are looking for action, and a person that can and will tell them what they want to hear.
They want to see miracles and it takes that type of service for them to continue. I am not against miracles, but if you can't
continue without miracles, you are empty inside and the oil has run dry. Remember what Saul did, he got David to play on the
musical instrument to calm the evil spirit that had come into him. Do we have a evil spirit in us and need to hear the music
at church or a gospel singing to sooth our conciseness? Can you hear the voice of the bridegroom? Have you checked your vessel
lately?. Remember that these were all virgins. Matthew 25:1 (KJV) Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins,
which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Matthew 25:2 (KJV) And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Matthew 25:3-13 (KJV) They that were foolish took their lamps, and
took no oil with them:
[4] But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
[5] While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
[6] And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh;
go ye out to meet him.
[7] Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
[8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for
our lamps are gone out.
I just can’t make it without going to a healing service or that
I must hear a special preacher that is drawing people from everywhere. let me ask where is the Great Preacher, when you are
laying in the Hospital bed or when you want one of your children baptized in water? Will this person who seems to be, whatever
they may be, it makes no difference to me. this is what Paul said.
Galatians 2:6 (KJV) But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever
they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added
nothing to me:
What do they add to you? Do they take your money and when you are
sick are they there beside your bed. It is your love ones that are there and your local pastor and brothers and sisters that
you are to call on when you are sick.
James 5:14 (KJV) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders
of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Do you feed the children in other states and let your own household
go hungry?.
1 Tim. 5:8 (KJV) But if any provide not for his own, and specially
for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Do you think that he is talking about the house where you live? What
about the house where we meet together to worship the Lord? Yes I am aware of the problems that exist in the churches. that
is the buildings that we assemble in. Some time we feel worse when we exit the door than when we came into the building. Now
whose fault is this? Hasn’t God given to us power over Satan? Then what went wrong? Could it be that we ourselves have
given into the spirit of Demons because that we failed to seek God for the direction to solving the problem and that we rather
run away and go somewhere else? I don’t see anywhere in the bible where it tell us to resist the Devil and then run
from him. You might ask the question, How do I resist the Devil? The only way to resist the Devil is to let the love of God
take root in our lives so much that the Devil will flee from us. You see, the Devil cannot, and I say, cannot stay in the
Presence of the Love of God. Satan hated Jesus so much that he had to get rid of Jesus and thought that he had rid the world
of God altogether. The thing he didn’t know that the Love of God was letting him crucifying his son and that the love
of God was the Power of God that Jesus was the express image of the Love that God had toward his creation and that by that
Love that was In Jesus. that was the power that kicked him out of the presence of God and the Angels. Revelation chapter twelve
describes the way that Jesus put him out of the presence of Heaven and the Same Love that Jesus had, he has shed forth into
our hearts that power.
Acts 2:33 (KJV) Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted,
and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Many of you have never seen a real move of the Holy Ghost in the assembly
of the saints and when you ever see this you will know that when the presence of the Holy Ghost sweeps down over and into
the hearts of the church and begins to move on the saints that no one, and I say, no one will find fault with any of the brothers
or sisters. there will be such Love among the saints that even the sinners will tremble in his presence. This is what is needed
in the churches and the sooner that we assemble together and get into one mind and one accord, the sooner the Holy Ghost will
fall like it did on the day of Pentecost and there will be a mighty sound from heave and it will fill the whole house and
there will be those that are filled who will speak with other Tongues as the spirit gives utterance. There are those who say
that it is not for us today. Read what Peter had to say about that and let every mouth be stopped.
Acts 2:16-18 (KJV) But this is that which was spoken by the prophet
Joel;
[17] And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will
pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams:
[18] And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in
those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Acts 2:39 (KJV) For the promise is unto you, and to your children,
and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
I ask the question has God quit calling men and women and children
to repentance?.
You that resist the Holy Ghost, you ought to be careful and I do certainly
hope that you are doing it ignorantly.
Acts 7:51 (KJV) Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears,
ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Yes the wisdom of the Holy Ghost will make your face to shine. Eccles.
8:1 (KJV) Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine,
and the boldness of his face shall be changed.
Stephen, being a deacon, preached under the anointing of the Holy
Ghost and had a powerful message to those who resisted the Holy Ghost and those that proclaimed to have religion and kept
the law was the biggest devils of all. This shining of Stephens face and the boldness that he preached with caused them to
chew on his neck like a bunch of animals. The was not able to resist him so they stoned him. Oh what a man of God who had
been filled with the Power of the Holy Ghost. Maybe we today don’t want to stir up the devil and we just run here and
there getting our joy from the flesh, rather that standing bold and unsheathing our sword of the Spirit.
2 Samuel 23:10 (KJV) He arose, and smote the Philistines until his
hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the Lord wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned
after him only to spoil.
2 Samuel 23:12 (KJV) But he stood in the midst of the ground, and
defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the Lord wrought a great victory.
Eleazar fought a battle among those Israelites whose heart had melted and whom was afraid to stand
and fight. When sin comes into our camp we run and hide and quit fighting the battle. We need to unsheathe the Holy Ghost
and go into the battle and go on the offence and take the prize that God has given us and wipe out the Philistines that have
made us to run. The Enemy stands like Goliath and brags and says send me on out . The Devil wants to slay each and every one
of us. You remember this one thing that we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood.
Ephes. 6:12 (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in
high places.
When you see a person standing and causing your heart to melt with
fear and you look on his stout face, you will not see the shine that Stephen had you will only see fear and evil upon his
face and although he may come looking that he has a robe of righteousness he is, inside, a raving wolf. Remember that love
seeks not his own.
Paul had a message to the church about the Love that is to be in each
of us and it’s behavior toward each other.
God has given us gifts to minister with and insist that we take these
gifts and go into all the world and preach the Gospel and heal the sick, laying on hands , casting out devils in the name
of the Lord. Listen to what he had to say about Love and the Gifts.
1 Cor. 12:31-13:13 (KJV) But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet
shew I unto you a more excellent way.
[13:1] Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have
not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
[2] And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries,
and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
[3] And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though
I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
[4] Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity
vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
[5] Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily
provoked, thinketh no evil;
[6] Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
[7] Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth
all things.
[8] Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall
fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
[9] For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
[10] But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in
part shall be done away.
[11] When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child,
I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
[12] For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
[13] And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest
of these is charity.
Without love, we cannot and will not see God, for God is Love. If
we have not love to one another we have not passed from death unto life. Let me emphasize to you, without love, you will not
ever see God the Father.
Jeremiah said that you and I will not find God among the ways of the
sinful ways of the Gentiles neither will we find this love by anyone except through the lord Jesus and his Holy Ghost.
Jeremiah 14:22 (KJV) Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles
that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O Lord our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for
thou hast made all these things.
I will be a little bolder and say that you and I will not know the
Love of God without the Holy Ghost.
1 Cor. 12:3 (KJV) Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man
speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
What the scripture is saying is, that your words that you and I speak
is not powerful enough to cause Satan to flee without the Holy Ghost. Satan is an angle of light and it is no marvel that
he is able to transform his ministers into the ministers of the Lord, pretending and preaching the words that will tickle
the ears of those who are and want to be led by the flesh and who are full of sin and disobedience.
2 Cor. 11:14 (KJV) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed
into an angel of light.
2 Cor. 11:15 (KJV) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers
also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
There is a saying that goes like this. “Just because the rooster
crows, it doesn’t mean it is daylight”. and that is true about those with fair speeches who make a show openly.
Romans 16:17-18 (KJV) Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which
cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
[18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their
own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
The Simple, what is he talking about?»Strong's Help akakos, Greek
172, Strong's akakos, ak'-ak-os; from Greek 1 (a) (as a negative particle) and Greek 2556 (kakos); not bad, i.e. (objective)
innocent or (subjective) unsuspecting :- harmless, simple.
When you least expect, there will Satan stand in front of you.
Listen to what the Psalmist David wrote and the words that comes out
of his mouth is that of what he and all of us encounter and notice that these complaints are the complaints of the Lord and
Jesus became everything and acquainted himself with all the trials that has come our way and knows all about what we are and
will go through with and has make a way of escape for each of us.
1 Cor. 10:13 (KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as
is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation
also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Jesus was the escape for David and became he took the troubles on
himself and he was the Way and David in the spirit was looking for a hope and that hope was spoken as a testimony and that
testimony became alive and that testimony was the power that brought the Lord Jesus to this world in human form and hang on
the Cross, in which, was deliverance for David and to all that will call and seek him with all their heart. Read what David
had to say.
Psalm 22:10-31 (KJV) I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou
art my God from my mother's belly.
[11] Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to
help.
[12] Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset
me round.
[13] They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring
lion.
[14] I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint:
my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
[15] My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth
to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
[16] For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed
me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
[17] I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
[18] They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
[19] But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee
to help me.
[20] Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of
the dog.
[21] Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the
horns of the unicorns.
[22] I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the
congregation will I praise thee.
[23] Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob,
glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
[24] For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the
afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
[25] My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will
pay my vows before them that fear him.
[26] The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord
that seek him: your heart shall live forever.
[27] All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord:
and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
[28] For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among
the nations.
[29] All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they
that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
[30] A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord
for a generation.
[31] They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people
that shall be born, that he hath done this.
My God, My God, how can any stand and deny the Lord? Will we be like
the five foolish virgins and let our oil empty out or should I say, let Satan drain our oil out. Has this happened to a lot
of people who jot here and there looking for a miracle or a great experience? God has said that he is as close as our mouth.
Romans 10:8
(KJV) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we
preach;
